    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Scrub and enter new business applications that are received from our 7 Case Managers into Smart Office and transmit to the carrier via PaperClip or other preferred method.
    • Enter all electronic applications into Smart Office.
    • Responsible for monitoring the New Business incoming mailbox throughout the day.
      • This includes: releasing any electronic applications that are received via Ipipeline or other electronic method.
      • Forwarding any e-mails to the appropriate Case Manager pertaining to that case manager’s pending application.
      • Forwarding any e-mails to the appropriate department that may be received in the New Business mailbox.
      • Responsible for uploading any requirements that are received from a carrier that include the administrative and medical file for a case submitted as a ticket into PaperClip.
    • Preparing overnight labels and sending any premium payments to the carrier. This includes taking the overnights to the appropriate mailbox for pickup.
    • Taking the mail to the Post Office at the end of each day.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Strong computer, typing and data entry skills
    • Great organizational skills
    • Ability to complete tasks, balance and prioritize daily workload to meet our time service standards

    Education and Experience:

    • Background in processing life new business in a brokerage or home office environment, preferred.
    • Prior experience working with Agency Management systems such as Smart Office a plus but not required.
